Flickering lights and microwave oven slows down on 1 circuit only
My lights started flickering, 1 light in kitchen, lamp in living rm. and the microwave oven slows down and then speeds back up. All this happens only sometimes. This morning the lights went all the way out, and the TV in the living rm went out too. There were no circuit breakers tripped. When I went to the breaker box, I tried them all until I got the things going again. Then I tried the breakers until I was certain which one was controlling that circuit. I have a surge protector for the TV and have the DVD player, and VCR, plugged into it too. I changed some of the way things are plugged in now, but it has done it 1 more time anyway. I have unplugged the microwave, but doesn't seem to have made a difference. Any help and/or ideas about what could be causing this will be most appreciated. Thanks Billy P

You need to take some time and map this breaker.

    My concerns:

Microwave should be on its own independent circuit.

The Circuit to the living room is not sized correctly for the load it is carrying.

You have a loose Neutral connection, somewhere in the circuit.
