I have natural ginger hair but I am wanting to dye it dark brown. Does anyone know the risks? Maybe it will go green or bright red? Please tell me! Thanks :)

It won't turn green, that's for sure. One of the problems of coloring hair is the tendency to turn red (or yellow for the lighter shades). Since your hair already has a lot of red in it, it will probably retain a lot of the red. Will it be bright red? Probably not.

When you get the product you're going to use, mix a teaspoonful of the product with a teaspoonful of developer. Get a piece of aluminum foil (kitchen quality) and slip it under a strand of your hair (don't clip the strand). Apply the mixture to the strand of hair and let it sit for 30-40 minutes. Wash it out ahd observe. That's the initial color. It will fade at least slightly within a week or so to the final color.
