Okay, I remember watching this movie over and over again, but can only remember bits and pieces. I've been yearning to see it again to figure out just what it was about.

First, I know it's a fantasy from the 80's. I think the movie's box featured a small picture of a flying dragon-thing over a large castle. Obviously, I can't remember anything about the title.

One scene involves some shapeshifters who take on the form of hot 80's babes out in the woods.

In fact, a lot of the movie takes place in the woods. I also distinctly remember a scene where a man (warrior, whatever) is tied to a tree and his nose is being tickled by a piece of grass.

I also remember a scene where the trail (I think they're searching for a magical weapon or something) leads to a cave full of ghosts.

I think I remember the climax involving some sort of flying thing a la Neverending Story.

Any help you could possibly give will end a 20-year journey (seriously, I remember wanting to rent it again and again but couldn't remember the name when I was 5 years old).
