No hot water in the shower!
When I turn on the water in the shower of my upstairs bathroom, it's either cold or just warm. I set it to the hottest setting and it's still only warm water that comes out. The water pressure is fine and there is hot water in the rest of the house. I remove the handle and found the brown ring on the pin and I moved it back a few notches and nothing. I found the valve inside the pipe and took it apart. It didn't look like there was any build up or blockage. How can I fix this problem without tearing apart my tile?

Is this a one handled shower valve, do you know the brand or model? Most likely we can help you and the wall will stay intact.
