    Divorce hearing
    My husband is the plaintiff, we already agreed on everything. Should I take part at the hearing by phone?I do not have a lawyer

    You should never want to take part in anything other than in person when you are handling matters with the court system. I do not think they would allow you to participate via phone. Go to court even if you do not have a lawyer and even if everything is agree to your knowledge.

    I agree you need to be their in person and lok appropraiate when talking to the judge. Listen closely to everything being said and take note on the things you don't so you can ask your atty later, before signing take time and make sure you understand every little word it will help in the future if there are problems.

    If both parties agree, often neither party even appears. The final hearing is merely to sign off on the paper work that you and the other party have worked out.

    So at this point the entire divorce agreement would be written out and signed and notorized. Just going to court to be signed off by the judge.
