    Here's a great little tool direct from Microsoft if you have Vista or XP. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links but I'll try.

    How do I make the Recycle Bin appear on my desktop in Windows Vista or in Windows XP?

    If the link does not show up simply go to Google and search "restore recycle bin". It's the first in the list.
