    Where can I found independent jobs?? Is there a page?

    Also what is the different between the 1099 and the DBA number?

    What kind of independent job are you looking for?

    The 1099 is the income tax form which the person who has paid you furnishes to you for your tax return; the DBA number is issued by your State (or County) when you file your dba (doing business as) certificate. Two different things.
