    Honeywell thermostat
I have a Honeywell thermostat Chromothem IV plus. I have not had any problems with it , until now. For the last week, HOLD has been on the display. I have never had it stay on this long before. Is it telling me something or can I do something to remove it.

Is this a way for the temperature to stay constant as opposed to the furnace not coming on until the temperature reaches a certain temp.

    Thanks, Rich

Hold is a mode on the thermostat that will keep a constant temp, instead of following a schedule to save on energy. Sounds like someone pressed the HOLD TEMP button and you need to press the RUN PROGRAM button, or at least that's what you do on Chromothem III
