Where did you get the disk? What file does it say is missing?

I got the disk from my school library (they take part in some program with Microsoft that allows us to check out software).

The error message reads: Setup cannot continue because a required file is either corrupted or not available. Run Setup again from the original source disk or download location.

I also already have Access 2003 installed, and service pack 3 for XP.

Sounds like that install disk won't install on your PC. You might want to try repairing 2003 first and then see if it works.

Gave that a shot - only found "office" available, not access by itself, so I repaired that. I also went and got a new disk from the library but it is definitely my computer. I'm afraid to uninstall office because I'm not sure if I have the disks...

    Still no luck :(
