    Hello Mom:

You're going to need a lawyer...

But, it looks like you've already been to court, and you got what you got... Unless you can prove that the father is a danger to your daughter, you're not going to GET her back into her mommy's arms. Nor SHOULD you. Daddy's arms are pretty nice too!

You say you can't get through to the father, but if you want him to give up his daughter, it's YOU who seem to have a problem with THICKHEADEDNESS!

For us to advise you we need to understand the situation.

Why was primary custody awarded to the father? How old is the child? Did the court place any conditions on returning custody to you? Do you have visitation?

No easy answer. He has physical custody? Why?

And we would need to know what State.

(And, as Excon said, fathers have rights, too, and a lot of men raise children by themselves and are excellent parents.)

You have joint legal custody, but what is the physcial legal status, do you share joint legal custody ? Or does he have sole legal custody.

If he has sole physcial custody, why, what was the reason the court gave him the child.

If you have joint physical what is unfair about it, the father if he loves the child should have equal rights
