What is wrong with? Or am I crazy
Its hard to explain.. Every time I leave my house I get anxiety especially if Im going more than a mile away from my house. Every time I feel something not right in my body like a pain or anything to that nature. I freak out. I get real hot and I can't breathe and sometimes I feel like I'm going to pass out. I don't understand why I am like this. I just want to be normal. I take medication for it but I don't think it works.. Is this normal..?

Sure many times medication can stop working as our body's change or if you just started it it may take longer to work or it just needs changed in prescription. Just visit your doctor who prescribed the last medication.
Anxiety attacks are a double edge sword here. You are stressed that the meds are not working and that alone can easily bring on an Anxiety Attacks
Look at it this way. Lets worry about not worrying. Its trying to think not to think.
So stop worrying if you can and see the doctor and they will be the experts on this and I'm sure they can get you back to an even keel.

Go see a Psychiatrist, not just a Family Doctor. They are better informed of medications to help with this, and there may be other issues that need to be addressed that are related to what you are experiencing.

    Hi, Amben!

The response above by 21boat is excellent!

As has already been suggested, visiting your doctor concerning the medications would be the thing to do.

I also suffer from anxiety attacks. They used to be just about as bad as yours. I was on medication, for a number of years, for that as well as depression.

One thing that helps me a lot with anxiety, is to be around people that are friends of mine.

Do you think that being around people more who are friends of yours, might be something that would be helpful to you?

    Thanks

It sounds like you have agoraphobia, but it could be anxiety alone. Can also be your meds, as the other person mentioned above, not working due to bodily changes, dietary changes, exercising changes, and various other things. Definitely go to a Doctor, Psychiatrist is a Doctor that specializes in Psychological illnesses. RRead the papers on your meds, that you probably got from the pharmacist, and see what the side effects are. Also, it can take anywhere from a day to a month or so to start working. Pay attention to your thoughts! Too many people aren’t realizing what they are think about can cause Anxiety, if you find you are "triggering" Anxiety with some thoughts, and then write that down. And Monitor your Mood, anxiety level when you are in your home, every morning and night if you can. The mood part is mostly to see if you are more anxious at one stage than another. Like me, I’m more porn to feel anxiety if I get angry.

I know that OCD is not really the same, but at the same time it is, but I'd suggest reading on it. You may need to learn to train your mind to focus, so you can function properly. We do not feel then think, it goes thought then feeling, then action usually. However, that’s not to say that actions can't influence feelings/ thoughts, or any combination of the three. I would suggest the book, "the brain that changes it’s self." by Norman Doidge. Warning, if you read it and start looking to find answers as to what you have, DON'T. I've done this in the various med books I have an it’s just lame. So take the advice it gives, and try to retrain your mind. First get your meds figured out.

    Ok, take care.

    Peace be with you.
