    Starter wiring
I just replaced the piston rings and I want to use a remote switch on the starter to crank the engine, but I'm not understanding on how to wire up the starter to the remote.

    Thank you

I bought my test switch at sears years ago. It's just a simple bridge between the 12v from battery (large post on starter) and solenoid.
You must have proper B+ and ground to the starter to begin with.
You could do that with a jump box if you'd like.
