    Filing my taxes
    How do I file my taxes as head of houseshold and claim my son who lives with me.

    I assume that you are a single parent.

    If so, you would file Form 1040A and list your son's name and SSN on the first page of the Form 1040A.

    You may want to go to one of the tax websites and see if you can do your return there. I prefer TaxAct.com, but both TurboTax and TaxCut also have websites that can do a simple return like yours with little trouble.
