    Inheritance Law for spouses in Califronia
    My husband of 26 years, father just died and he inherited a lot of assets. We have been separated for 12 years, but not legally separated. We have two children together, ages, 24 & 25. Am, I entitled to any of my husbands inheritance?

    Since CA is a community property state, its possible since you do not have a legal separation. But if he can prove you have been living apart for 12 years, I doubt if a court would agree to it.

    I would suggest consulting a divorce attorney.
