    How do I respond to a court summon that I recsived within 20 days?

    Hi, 2uphold me 1x!

    Since you've received a court summons, then your options for responding should be in the summons. Most likely, you'll be given an option to respond in writing or appear in court. If it states that you must appear in court, then you appear in court.

    If your unsure of how to word things in a document and/or how to represent yourself before a magistrate or judge, then I would suggest hiring an attorney to represent you.

    What is the court summons concerning, please?
