    Probation violation? WHAT!
I was on ISP(intense supervised probation) 3 years ago and caught another drug case. My sentence was a 9 month rehab. After successfully completing the program I was placed back on ISP. My p.o. tells me in order to get off i.s.p. I needed to make 3 consecutive monthly payments (fines). 3 months later he tells me that I needed to sign up for D.V. classes in order to get off. 3 months later I'm told that I must sign up for my community service. 2 months after I sign up he then tells me that I must complete half of the hours. He claimed it was standard procedure. One year and three months later, I was still on ISP. I did something foolish and dealing with my frustration, I caught a hot U.A. The next 3 months yielded 2 more hot U.A.'s. Now I'm waiting for sentencing. My public defender is asking for 60 days in jail and no more probation. My question is- Isn't it an illegal act that my p.o. did not disclose all of the stipulations that I needed to complete in order to get off i.s.p.

    Hello enemy:

Nahhhh. It IS highly unethical, though. But, what do you expect from them?? Ethics?? Bwa, ha ha ha.

Although it's a little late, but from the very first indication you had that your PO was a LIAR, you should have conducted ALL your business with them by mail. As soon as a meeting was had, you should have followed up with a letter outlining what was discussed. These writings COULD have kept you safe.

Instead of keeping THEIR feet to the fire, you caved in to the pressure... I understand WHY you did. But, as soon as you did, your PO won.

But, you can win next time... Go get 'em.
