    What will come of this?
I am 18 years old and the other day I was at a local wal mart where I switched the price tag on a pair of shoes and paid for the price that I had placed on them. Well walking out the door I was stopped pulled into an office and charged with fraud under 5000 for paying 10 dollars less on a paif of heels. I now have a court date, I was wondering what I should expect.

If you've never been in trouble before I would expect community service. Since it was under $5000 then I believe it's a misdemeanor (hope someone can back me up on that as I'm not completely sure). Therefore, community service can be expected... Maybe a little bit of probation and possibly a fine.

It's just another form of shoplifting. Shoplifting under $5000 is a misdemeanor.
