    Figuring FICA withholdings
I have to use my last check stub to file my taxes. My check stub has a the total FICA w/h instead of breaking it down between FICA-SS W/H and FICA-Med W/H. How much is each if the total is 1821.63?

Social Security is withheld at a flat 6.2%.

Medicare is withheld at a flat 1.45%.

Determining how to split the $1,821.63 total is basic algebraic math, which I assume you can do.
