    Inventory at no cost
    New business. We are given used lawn mowers at no cost, fix them up, and sell them. How do I put these lawn mowers into our inventory in our books? Usually you put the cost in as the amount but there was no cost.

Is inventory cost the same as Cost of good sold? I believe it is but would be grateful for comfirmation.
