    Finding a statue in Ohio
Per our court order either parents gets to claim our child every other year. It also states that the father maybe no more than 30 days in arrears on his child support or he gives up the right to claim the child for his year. I have been told(by a lawyer) that some where in the Ohio statutes it states no more than 30 days in arrears during the child support payers year to claim child on taxes or else the right to claim the child on taxes is forfeited. Can anyone help me find this statute? I really want a copy for my records

Thanks for any help... Enjoy your day!

Good luck on finding it because most things that involve court aren't so cut and dry. Usually its up to the courts and how the child support is calculated to figure into who gets what on the taxes.
