    Mortgage behind
    My 2nd mortgage is behind 6months because of disability they won't work with me don't want to file bankruptcy can't do a refinance credit is bad had to file ch 13 last year had it dismissed won't receiving my disability but now I am want to keep my home what can I do they want me to double up on payment for 2nd mortgage what can be done so they won't foreclose

    You can try to negotiate or refinance but it appears you've already attempted that.

    Why was your Chapter 13 dismissed?

    Your only hope is negotiating. After 6 months with no ability to catch up, I don't see that happening. Could you make an offer to pay the current month on time with a extra toward the back payments? I don't know if the offer would be accepted but it is a possibility.

    They won't accept anything but a double payment which I can't afford and they bought the loan from another company .what can I do my ch 13 was dismissed because my dissability hadn't come through and I want to file ch 7 but they say my mortgage have to be caught up or pay meant satisfactory showing backpayments arrangements OK with mortgage company

    Nothing that I am aware of - either bring the payments up to date or the house will be foreclosed. I see no other options.

    The company has to agree to modify the loan, and yes, with a chapter 7, you have to reaffirm the debt So there may not be a way.

    There is not always a answer that will help everyoe
