Switch to turn off water pump once the tank if full
We live on top of the hill. Water is pumped from down below. Our water pump stays on even after the tank is full. How can I make it turn off once the tank above is full? Are there pump switches that turn the pump off once the tank is full?

What type of tank are we speaking of? A open storage tank ? A galvanized pressure tank?
If you have a storage tank the here are a selection of float switches,(see images) that will do the job. If you've got a pressure tank then the pump control,(see image) will pump to the desired pessure and shut off.
Good luck and thank you for rating my answer. Tom
