    2x - y = 6
    -x + 3y = 10
    Solving for y in the top equation, we have -y = 6 - 2x; which is the same as y = 2x - 6.
    Next, substitute the value for y in the second equation, then solve for x:
    -x + 3(2x -6) = 10
    -x + 6x -18 = 10
    5x = 28
    x = 28/5. Substitute x = 28/5 into 2x -y = 6, then solving for y, yields y = (56 -30) /5 = 26/5. Good luck!
