    How do I find out who is the owner of a certain property??

    The easy way is to contact the town's Tax Assessor or Tax Collector's office. Give them the address and they will tell you where the tax bills are sent.

    The best way is to go to the county clerk or county register's office and search the title of the property to see who is the current owner.

    You can try your county's GIS system on the web. There you can often look up addresses and it will list the property value and the owner of the property.
