'96 corolla has trouble starting in the mornings, but only in the mornings
    In the mornings

    I get in my car

    I put the key in

I turn the key it makes that sound and then it BARELY turns over

And then I have to press the gas to makie it fully turn over

And when it barely turns over its like its struggling so bad to

Like it wants to but it cant

This only happens in the mornings, through out the day the car starts fine. This prob has been apparent since Friday last week.

O by the way this is my friends car. I thought his problem was that his alternator was not giving a good charge, or that something was pulling on the battery, causing the battery to slowly die. See I had this prob on my old '66 mustang. Turned out there was a short somewhere and would slowly kill the battery.

Any help would do. Thanks. Nice website. Have a good day

Have entire charging system checked, sounds like a bad battery!

89 Mazda trouble starting [ 8 Answers ]

I have a 1989 Mazda626. After not driving it for a few days, I drove about 1.5 miles, stopped and shopped for about 10 minutes. When I tried to start my car, the engine would not "turn over." It made a noise (more than a click), so the battery was not dead. I tried about 5 times, then I left the...
