Changing headlight on a 1994 Escort LX
How do I change the headlight?

I've pulled the connector off. Someone told me to grab the round thing and rotate it a quarter turn counterclockwise, but it doesn't budge.

    Can you help?

    Thanks

The retaining ring on those can be difficult to remove. Your's may be seized on there but it will turn. Be careful not to break anything or get injured in the process.

The windshield wipers quit working on my 1994 Chev truck. You can hear the motor trying to run when you switch it on. If you raise the hood and smack it a couple of times with the handle end of a large screwdriver, they'll start working, for a while. W hat do I need to replace or fix?

Changing '92 Tracer headlight? [ 1 Answers ]

I'm trying to change my headlight on my Mercury Tracer (1992), and I can see the black ring where the wires are entering; however, I can't get it to turn either direction. I think I can do finish the job once it's off, but I can't get that thing to budge! Anyone have any idea?
