No electricity coming from panel box
My husband just went by our second home & there is no electricity in the house. He checked the panel box & nothing was tripped. He called the power company & they are on their way to check things out. What's the chances that it's not a power company issue? What would have to go out for there to be no electricity whatsoever in the house?

Did he check the main panel switch? There is one bigger switch that will all power to the house. Usually all the way at the top in the panel box

StaticFx,
There are two "main" breakers. He flipped those off & on & there is no electricity. Nothing in the panel box was tripped.

Sounds like a power company problem.
Do the neighbours have power?

No neighbors home right now. We do have a digital meter & my husband says that it is blank on the led right now.

See if the neighbors is blank.
I take it, no Disconnect next to Meter.
It is odd that both hots to go out from electric company. Losing 1 Hot or a Neutral is understandable.
Many times you can follow the Electrical lines from house to street, and see in the air where it is physically broke apart.

There is no disconnect at the house. It's the first thing we checked. I called the power company & they did say there were some other outages. What concerns my husband is that our freezer is defrosted. I know it takes some time for that to happen.
We were trying to figure out what reasons there could be that were not power company related, that would have our whole panel shut down, just in case they got there & said it was not their problem.
Thanks all for your very speedy answers.

An Electrician will measure directly on conductors coming into Panel, then where the wires came from(Meter, disconnect, junction box)?

This is not even worth asking about until the power company checks it.
It sure does seem that the power is completely out, but it could be many things.
With absolutely no details ANYTHING said here is a wild guess.

As far as "chances"
If I were a gambling man, I'd put my money on something on the power companies side.
