    Im a Zebra
    :(

Hey guys sooooo I can come to a conclusion I'm going to use obagi on my face and also make my own 4% HQ serum

I had great success with the obagi on body areas I was trying to treat it never irritated my skin as as 'im in the UK we don't have hot summers here so I'm going to give it a try

I tried makari night cream it only lightened one area so I needed something stronger I was thinking of going to the caviar cream... but one to many horror stories I'm not really show I want to ''go there''

My body is a MAC NC45 :D and my face is NW 45  and my neck NW 47

I use Becca foundation for my face in chestnut

So you see the dilemma I'm a zebra :mad:

I would love to have this woman's face complexion YouTube - My Foundations

I'm hoping 3 months should do it... fingers crossed my skin on my face is smooth and even but the tone compared to my body is just all out of whack it must end!! Lol!

Yep, I ve used Obagi for yrs.
    # 3& 5 w/ retina. U see progress in a little a 2 weeks. U peel like crazy the first cycle of use.

I wanted my face to match my body too.
I think Ill go back to Hydrogen peroxide every week. Lol

    Thanks for replying!

I have the obagi clear I remember I tried it for a few weeks and then saw lightening on my neck
Which is still there it never went dark again as soon as I stopped using it... unlike makari... but as I was still debating on if I should use it on my face I chickened out lol!

However I'm back on it I have 1% retin a but that is to strong for me for every day so I might use it every other day?

I also used to have the etta bleach powder which worked if only for a temp effect but I chucked out 2 boxes as I wasn't using them... thinking of getting some more some time down the line perhaps

mepk5 what sunscreen do you use? I have yet to find one that isn't white!

    I can't wait!!

I use Nutrogena 55 sunblock. I use a very small dot it is white but it will not be white on r skin if u use a smal amount w/ a moisturizer .
U can get o.5 retina & use t at night only.

What is etta bleach powder? Is it like mono?
    Did u see any lightening?

The etta Bleaching powder is hydrogen peroxide comes in a large bag I think it has vitamin c in there also? Can't remember though
I used it on my knees and my face and it did produce results I just never stuck to the routine they recommend you do

I was never that faithful to it but as I did get a brightening effect I
Yeah that's what I thought about the sunscreen apply smaller amounts then when I went to the derm he said NO (rolling my eyes lol) and told me you have to apply the required amount for you to actually get the full SPF stated on the bottle

I have a sephora spf 30 somewhere I will have to just dig that out and see what its like if I can even find it!

I was going to try the retin a 0.25 but as I already have tons of the retin a 1% I will just continue to use it on my body and on my face every other day till I can order the lower percent

OK... well you should use a higher % of sunscreen. I saw nutrogena have a 70 sunscreen. But it is whitle also. I mix the 55 & I'm never white or gray... did you tell your dermatologist you are using mono? I wouldn't tell mine.lol

Yes I was looking at photos. Why did I ever stop/ Then I remembered. The face was 3 shades lighter than my neck hands, etc The excessive peeling stopped. It did make my skin very dry but I found a good hydrater.
I'm back to stay. Sunscreen & all.
