    Then you must not really know him enough to have LOVE feelings.
    Back up a bunch of steps, take some deep breaths, get the L word out of your head and then be friends and see where it goes.
    Most likely asking him how he feels will scare him off.

    Look... you can never know if someone loves you or not by what they say... what is his ACTIONS telling you?? Think about that...
