You have a
gerber fill valve that will require you to purchase a
SEAL CAP ASSEMBLY repair kit... Part #99-646SC.. see link below... may be able to find this at a
PLUMBING SUPPLY HOUSE, but don't expect to find this at home depot or Lowe's.

Easier may be to replace with a
fluidmaster 400(A) fill valve... see pictures below.
To replace this readily available fill valve (find at home depot or lowes) just need to shut the water supply to the toilet, drain tank of water (use sponge to remove all water from tank) and undo the toilet water supply tube and remove the fill valve (nut under tank).
Connect all as directed on package (do not overtighten nut! ), connect water supply (may want to purchase a
(7/8") x (3/8") compression x 12" long Flexible toilet supply) and test/set height of fill valve so water level is about 1/2" to 1" below the
OVERFLOW pipe (see picture)
