    Tanning after laser tattoo removal?
I am in my first session of tattoo removal with a laser. After I had my first treatment I started to think about what the skin will look like after all my treatments are done. I am a light skinned girl (irish italian) so I tan very easily.and I do use tanning beds, although they are awful for me. I also live near the beach. I spend a lot of time there.

I am worried that my lower back will never tan again and that it will look two different shades. If my skin will never be the same color as the rest of my body, I don't think I will continue with the treatments.

Has anyone had this procedure done!

Tanning beds are very bad for your overall health. It's almost like putting you entire body into a microwave oven! They will age your skin horribly to put it mildly. They will accelerate any kind of health problem you have. Your best bet is the beach and the sun if you really think you just have to tan your skin. If I were you and was going through an expensive tattoo removal, I sure as heck would stay out of the sun until the entire procedure was completed and then stay out of the sun/tanning beds for quite a while afterwards to be on the safe side.

I have not had laser tattoo removal, but I am thinking about getting a black and white tattoo removed off my abdomin that I got when I was extremely drunk. I am worried about tanning after tattoo removal as well. A friend of mine got a fairy removed off her back, and it left a few white marks that do not tan at all. She does spray tans, and it covers them completely... and it is better for you than tanning beds. So that is always an option.
