They will probably put you through the "system" and find out about California as you must produce a SSN in order to get a driver's license and guess what - they'll stumble onto your warrants.

P.S. You will probably be detained by some guys in cop outfits as well.

twinkiedooter... got your back on this one! As an ex-cop from SO-CAL I will tell u they don't have to and most likely donot run you through NCIC (The fact that you know this system makes me think u know your stuff).DMV is onto 'Facial Recognition Technology'. Two weeks ago an illegal immigrant wanted for crimes was arrested when she attempted to obtain a drivers license. They I.D.'d her through facial recognition alone.

Advice... from an XCOP consider paying your time and remove the felonies from your rtecord and u won't have to worry about this kibda thing citizens take for granted.

They will check you for previous licenses, very likely they will find you.

Now the issue is, will they take you back, depends on the crimes

If it is for something small then likely California won't want to pay for the expidition fees

Do you mean extradition fees? And, yes, they will. You did read these are felony warrants - plural - ?

Yes, as a police officer in GA we often found people with warrants in other states, we would stop them, detain them and wait for their state to tell us if they were going to come get them or not/

You never know, some states may come after a shoplifter but the next week would not come after a robber

What about it? Will the Police pick you up? Can you get a license in another State? What is the question?
