    Code for installing an in wall heater in bathroom
    I need to install a 220V forced air wall heater in a tiny bathroom. What is acceptable placement to pass an inspection? This batroom is very small and has limited wall space.

    The manufacturer's space and installation requirements are what you need to follow. They can be pretty stringent.

    I could answer that question but it's a local code that will give you your correct answer. Especially when it come to codes and what the U.L. listing on the heater states. Even The building code itself mat be different to the NFPA overlapping the building code. Call inspector and give U.L. listing on heater and the space in clearances where you want to install. Even a towel rack to heater could effect the placement.
