How do I get my original books published?
I have written several children's books and have no clue what to do now. I don't want to self-publish or do an "on-line" publisher. I just don't know where to start.

Please send me your suggestions. Thank you.

Get one of the books or look online for children's book publishers. See what they are accepting and how you should send it. Send them a book query letter describing your book to see if they would be interested. It is helpful also on it to list your qualifications.

    Hi, jsp_2008!

How you would publish it would depend on what sort of scale of publication that you would want to do, large amounts of books or small amounts of books.

If you would like to publish it in large amounts, then I would recommend getting an agent, as has already been mentioned, who would then present your books, in professional ways, to publishers. Publishers won't be as likely to even look at your work unless you are represented by an agent because they get so many works submitted to them.

Why don't you want to try self-publishing or the online publishers, please?

    Thanks!

And even some of the books that became best sellers often were rejected 10 to 20 times, so often it is a matter of numbers of tries.

So, even though your books might be rejected a number of times, it's best to keep persisting and persevering toward your goal.
