I am sorry I can't help more but I will give you what I remember. I don't think anyone can get this movie by what I will give but I will try. I thought I might have been a wrinkle in time but that movie came out in 2003, this movie was earlier.

So these two kids, I believe a boy and a girl or maybe it was just one kid. They are at a bridge I think and they get on a flying horse or unicorn and fly to another dimension or heaven or somewhere and I remember this guy who is playing a flute, one of the flutes that are old style that are like Indian flutes called a "pan flute" you can Google search if needed, about 6 flutes that are tied together. They are sitting on this rock and everything around him is really pretty and green while he plays the flute and they kid is just listening. I know this is not much I saw it when I was a little kid.
