    How to reduce and control stress?
    Hi, I'm a 27 year old guy. My problem is that I get easily stressed even though I have a good job.
    Is stress also related to my somewhat low self-esteem?
    I'd appreciate any piece of advice.

    Exercise,meditation,hobbies, listening to music.Whatever you find as an enjoyable release.

    Take a class ,something you have always wanted to learn but never did.It may also improve your self-esteem.

    Tackling something you never felt capable of but always wanted to do.

    Sometimes we really need to step out of our comfort zone and do something different and exciting.

    Everyone has some issues with self-esteem. And we all experience stress ,its how you deal with it that matters.

    If you are always beating yourself up,ie; Im not good enough,etc. than yes I would say that the self esteem is adding to your stress.

    Often we over think things and we are very hard on ourselves.
    Try to lighten up and not take yourself and life all too seriously.

    I found that excerising help me deal with stress. Being stress out isn't good and it can lead to health problems. It can cause ulcers, high blood pressure,etc. You have to find a healthy way to release stress whenever it occur but in today society it's easy to get stress out, even over small things. I find that if you don't let get to you and don't sweat the small stuff, you lower your stress levels.

    Now if you've low self-esteem you need to build it up because having confidence is always good and a plus for yourself. Why exactly do you feel like you have low self-esteem, what do you feel like you need to change/imorove about yourself?
