    Effect of genset on capacitor bank
    Ihave a capacitor bank connected to my main switch gear. My distribution panel is coupled with a stand by genset through ats. Is there any effect on the genset during the change over of supply from my stand by genset..

    I will assume the Cap bank is for PF correction of high induction load in the facility.

    Should not be any issues.

    More importantly, be sure the genset is sized to handle any starting KVA of large motors or other induction loads.
