    Bathtub control only turns halfway
    Hello

The tap in my bathtub is a single lever control. The other day it would only turn not quite half way. I am not sure what happened but it almost seems like there is something stuck. Any clue what could have caused this and how it can be fixed.

Brand/model would help. Some control valves use plastic gears that form a antiscald feature, this feature can break.

It is a Delta. From looking on the internet I think the model is the Classic Monitor Scald-Guard Tub & Shower Trim. Also from looking on the internet I found directions on how to adjust the hot water control/check if it is broken.

    Thanks

Open up the valve and check the "limit stop". (See image) Let me know if that's it. Good luck, Tom
