    Taking a car for debt
    I own my car and that all I have. Can they take it ?

    From a judgement can they take a car that I own ?
    I had a personal loan years ago. Well I got a divorce and lost my job. So I can't pay with no money so I stopped . So now I have to got to a deposition and it said that I should bring all my deeds to any cars

    They probably CAN take your car, but they probably won't. Course, if it's a nice Lexus, who knows?

    Depending on the value of the car they may decide to take it, but generally they either can't or won't. What can be attachable for unsecured debt is regulated by state law.
