    Need wire schematic
What does each color wire control in a Lenox electric air heater handler with a separate air conditioner (non-heat pump)? We are switching to a programmable digital tstat.

All we know is the yellow wire contols the air conditioner. When installed in a Hunter tstat, both AC and heater run simultaneously.

Color wires available: Green, white, red, yellow, blue.

Is there a Honeywell digital thermostat that can handle a five wire system?
    Thanks!

Woops,, this poster forgot to send a wire for the a/c,, I would advise to go into furnace to see what eaach colored wire is being used for,, rule of thumb does not allways prevail,, we could cause someone to fry a tstat or a transformer

The original poster said that it is NOT a heat pump, so no AUX HEAT. Unless I'm missing something here.
