There remains about 4 inches of water in the bottom. This year I did not pay for the insurance can you believe it?
Do I need a service man or can it be simple? Thanks Bruno

Could be something went over the inner tub to the outer tub (small sock tetc.) We call them floaters. The unit will pump out until the sock or other items plugs the hole then it stops pumping for awhile. Years ago I made a retriever out of a coat hanger with a hook on the end. You go fishing for the item between the inner basket tub and the outer tub. If that fails then you have to pull the inner basket tub. That part is no fun.
