I resealed my old tub in the house using one of the tub reseal kits from the hardware store. It stated 72 hours to dry before use. Well yesterday was 72 hours and all the sides etc are dry as a bone but the tub floor (bottom) is not. It is still tacky. What should I do? The tub had spray paint on it before so I used paint stripper in a spray can to remove it. Then followed the directions. After the stripper I let it air dry 24 hours before I painted the tub with the epoxy sealer. Right now I have a heater in the bathroom trying to expedite the drying process. Any ideas? Could the epoxy have interacted with a few spots of spray paint that did not remove with the stripper??
