    Theft under 5000?
    Hello everyone,

If I have a friend that took a bank card from another friend, and stole around 150$ from her, and I was walking with him while he was going to withdraw it, but tried to convince him not to take it, am I in trouble?

Also, the person withdrew the money from an ATM at a bank. If the bank were to investigate, does the person who had the money taken from them have a say on the investigation or whether the person will be charged?

    Hello ren:

If the COPS think you committed a crime then you'll be charged. If the victim wants you to be charged, but the cops don't, then you won't be.

Walking with him when he was in the middle of a crime is a dangerous place to be... You MIGHT be charged... If so, and all you did was WALK, hire an attorney.
