I keep having Weird dreams that don't make sense.
i had this dream today that i lived in a wierd oldish house i've never seen before, i never looked around the house, i stayed in the living room but there was nothing but glass walls and no doors, i was weraing thes wierd clothing that only porcelian dolls wore, and my hair was long, and i was a witch, but i had no broom or black clothing or the hat, i went into the yard and there was vines growing onto the brick fence and the house walls, all i know is that i jumped the brick fence and found this book and jumped over the fence to my house before the neighbor's found out, all i know is that they saw me and they called me wierd and said not to bother with us, because i was a wierd poor girl. I began reading the book and notes and all i know is that the black cat that lived with me told me not to read it. to put the book down and the notes. And then i remember going to the yard again at the side of my house where i jumped the brick fence, and i read the book and my powers got better, i was flying at least 3 feet off the ground. I went back in the house and the neighbors knew i was a witch. They started talking and plotting against me, and the guys in the truch across the street was looking at me through the glass walls. I covered the window with the curtains so they couldn't see me but they still knew. And the neighbor, she was a an old woman about prolly 50 years old, she came to my house and she stared at me, she told me she knew who i was and pulled a knife out on me, she had me on the ground and had the knife to my side poking me and all i knew i was trying to push her away, and after i cut her a couple of times, i stabbed her in the chest, and she told me, i know what you are and no matter how hard u try u can't ignore it, that even if she died, other's would try to kill me too. and then she ended up dieing in my house, but her body disppeared. the guy in the truck got out and was coming my way, all i knew is that i flew up fast and high but witout my broom, i went to this lil hen house out in open land, there was a lot of grass everywhere and there was a forest surrounding us, but the lil hen house, it had no walls and no windows, but u had to climb like a hundred ladders to get there, and i cover the sides wit curtains, and i was with 2 sisters and they were witches too [in wake life i don't have no sisters] we were hiding from the people, and we decided to go into the forest to see if there was a better place to hide, but all the people found us, they had guns and weapons, we just ended up flying away but they were catching up to us, and it all ended there.
[I've been having the wierdest dreams but this one was my wierdest, but i've always been having dreams about me being a witch. I'm only 15 years old, and my other friends don't get dreams like this, i really wanna know what my dream means]

Wow. That is a weird and intense dream, with both parts that are very positive and parts that are very negative. Funny, I had a similar dream last night. In my dream I was having some neurological tests, and afterward, I went out in front of the clinic and everything felt weird, dreamlike. So I thought, "If everything feels dreamlike, does that mean I can do things that I can usually only do in dreams? Like flying?" So I tried and found out I could fly, and was showing off for the doctors and nurses, but then the head doctor started chasing me.
This dream of yours can mean a lot of things. I guess the question is how literally you want to take it. The idea of the house with glass walls seems obvious enough--wanting to keep things about yourself private, but having them revealed to the people around you. That happens when you are 15. You're starting to discover who you really are as a person, but you worry that when other people see who you really are, they won't like it, and will try to keep you from being yourself. That part of the dream is pretty clear.
The idea of stealing a book and learning magic is interesting. Strange that your black cat, your "familiar spirit" if you really are a witch, didn't want you to read it. You would think the black cat would want you to be as witchy as possible! Part of growing up is learning things you aren't "supposed" to know, discovering things about yourself that parents and teachers either didn't want you to find out, or at least they had their own ideas about what kind of person they expected you to want to be.
So it all comes down to being a "witch" in the dream. Dreams are very symbolic, and while your dream might be telling you that you really are a witch or a psychic, it needn't be anything that straightforward. Maybe your mind is telling you that you are something that might make some people uncomfortable in our society. One possibility would be discovering that you are gay (some lesbian women were accused of witchcraft a few centuries ago).
50 years ago, the only witches people knew were "wicked" witches, like in The Wizard of Oz and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Now, thanks to a lot of good Wiccan women, and people like J. K. Rawling, we have a very different image of witches. But still, what is a witch, really? A witch is a woman with power. I bet Hillary Clinton's been called a witch plenty of times. Women who are strong, brave, independent, not needing a handsome prince to rescue them, are "witchy." So maybe your mind is telling you that you have the ability to become a great person, a leader, a feminist, a great scientist or doctor or lawyer or whatever. But in your dream your mind puts that in symbolic terms, calling you a "witch." Some people are bothered by that, and they try to tell you to be a good girl, keep your mouth shut, the brainy girls don't get dates, all that old crap that you shouldn't listen to. But you go on learning about yourself anyway, learning your own secrets. You maybe aren't ready for the people around you to see this potential you're discovering in yourself, but you can't help it, it shows through the glass walls. So when they come after you, you fly away to the "hen house," where you find your two sisters, i.e. find other young women like you.
In dreams, flying is usually a metaphor for personal power and freedom.
The "hen" house is the women's house, the place of the divine feminine (in Celtic mythology, the great Mother Goddess appears as a hen sometimes). It is where new things are hatched, where you can be creative. You have two sisters, just like the fates, the MacBeth witches, the Threefold Goddess. You are discovering your own inner sacredness. But even there people are still coming after you. Despite all the growth and changes in our society, we still live in a very patriarchal culture. We still have glass ceilings (to go along with your glass walls). We still have people who don't think women should have power, who will discriminate against women, who will call women witches (or something else that rhymes with that) if they refuse to accept demeaning traditional feminine roles.
If anything I've written here has a ring of truth for you, you might want to explore this meaning further. Talk to the women around you who are strong individuals. Or you can read books by people like Ursula LeGuin, Starhawk, or Clarissa Pinkola Estes. Or, of course, Hillary Clinton.
Blessings!
Alder
P.S. I love your line about "wearing clothing that only porcelain dolls would wear" and having long hair. Beautiful image for reconnecting with women from earlier times, of finding yourself in established "girl" roles.
