I've recently been suffering from a sore throat, for the past three days now.
Last night was the worst that it has ever been.
I was up until 4:00am, where I went downstairs, and fell asleep on the sofa at 7:00am.
I can't afford to do the same thing tonight, as I have a college interview tomorrow morning at 10:00am!

I've tried everything these past few days to try and get rid of this throat infection, but it does not seem to be budging.

Any advice on how I can try to decrease the pain, and perhaps make myself feel a little more confident for this interview tomorrow?

I've taken painkillers, used hot water bottles, drank tea/warm milk with honey, taken a soak, inhaled steam, tried lozengers- but nothing seems to be working.

Please help me.

Have you tried gargling with warm salt water? If you are still sick and get no relief from doityourself remedies you may just have strep throat and need to see a doctor.
