    For fellow trombone players
I forgot I might need a scale sheet for my trombone so I got rid of it because I thought I didn't need it, well I have two weeks for break and I have a new song to learn (synergies by robert sheldon) for auditions for chair placement and I need a position chart. Can any one help me out? I know all the notes but I just need to know the positions for Bb concert, Ab concert, C concert,Db concert, Eb concert, F concert, and high G scales. If you can help that would be great! Thanks:)

    Hi, THEpurplepeanut!

I wish that I'd seen your question earlier. One of the things that I've done for a living is that I was a music teacher as well as a band and chorus director.

I know that you found a chart, but just for future reference, those sort of things are easy to find on the Internet. Please click on the following search. Google Maybe that's how you found yours, though?

How long have you been playing trombone, please?

    Thanks!

Thanks for responding, THEpurplepeanut! I look forward to further possible discussions as to what you might be doing musically.

It's rare that I find someone on this site with whom I might share a kindred spirit in musical types of things.

Yeah same here, I'm supposed to play this song called Synergies by Robert Sheldon, It's REALLY HARD!! Well it looks hard. I tried playing it and I have two weeks to learn it then I have to audition for chair placement and I'm hoping to get to 1st chair, I'm so close now, I'm 2nd, just missed it! :) you can listen to it at sheet music plus, just type in Synergies -Robert Sheldon on Google and it should be one of the top picks. Hope you can help somehow!! :)

    Thanks,

    THEpurplepeanut
