No hot water in Kenmore 70 Series washer
I just replaced the hot/cold water valve in my Kenmore 70 Series Heavy Duty Plus washer model no. 82372110. I had one wire in the wiring harness, small, left over and couldn't find where to attach it. The washer fills fine with cold water but takes in no hor water. All lines and hoses are new and clear. Am I correct in assuming if I can find where to attach the wire my problem will be solved? Where do I attach it?

The water valve takes two set of quick disconnect cold water y-r/w hot water br-r/w there should not be any loose wire. Check your water temp. switch.

My Kenmore heavy duty 70 series model #82874120 no longer fills with hot water. It fills fine on cold and warm but will not switch over to hot. I used to be able to find a "sweet spot" where I could get it to switch over to hot, but no longer. What should I check first?

    Thanks!
