    Is it ocd?
I am constantly playing with my hair, picking at my dead ends. CONSTANTLY. I'm 15 & have and had a lot of stress in my life... so could it be that or OCD? I've been doing it for as long as I can remember, since I was real little.

Try to stop. If, in spite of your best efforts you can't quit, talk it over with a parent. A doctor would need to see you and diagnose you with OCD.

Is it interfering with hair growth? Normal daily life? Friendships? Do you feel bad that you do it? Does being diagnosed with OCD sound like a positive outcome? Does your mom know that it's been an ongoing thing for years? Are there things that could be done to reduce the stress in your life?
