    Generator to meter outlet
    Can generator be connected to meter socket with meter removed cannot find transfer switch we are in emergency in new englandgonna get cold tonight

    Not if you like living in your home as opposed to jail. :mad:

    Most utilities do have available a thing called Gener-Link . It is a sub-base for the meter that has the generator input and transfer device built in.

    NO! You CANNOT install this yourself.
