    Monobenzone on olive skin
    Hey Guys/Girls/Ladies,

I have been reading about the things on skin lightening section for a while...
And as far as I remember, there are some members like Vahid, sara_uk and ligtherr
Who has had some good experience with monobenzone... To them and also to the rest of the forum members, I have some questions and I would be glad if you can help me:

    My questions to you:

What was your original skin color and how much you got lighter for how long and how much concentration of using mono?

I have read some scientific journal papers and there they give some cases of repigmentation, even in the severe vitiligo patients due to folicular melanocytes (which can't be killed using mono) or after some unprotected sun exposure... This made me a bit concerned.

In one scientific journal paper they gave an example of a woman (who were a severe vitiligo patient)... after 5 years of "successful" fully depigmentation she had developed hundreds of brown spots all over hr body (due to folicular melanocytes).. the only thing is they did not report the original skin color of the patient, hence, from the photos I cannot understand if those brown spots are actually darker or lighter than her original skin colour... So, I am not sure if mono might make some individuals darker in the long term or not (like the dark brown patches HQ could cause in the long therm)

Awwww, I so want to have that pale white look (have any of you seen the movie Twilight recently... You will realize what I mean by pale white when you see the skin color of the good vampires in that movie... like Robert Pattison
Here are some screnshoots from that movie... showing their skin colour:

Twilight Movie-Baseball Edward! On Flickr - Photo Sharing!
Twilight: New Photo of Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) and Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) On Set on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

In the last one year I tried avoiding sun, using shades or sunscreen... etc and I managed to loose the sun damage that has accumulated over the years.. I mean, I am a bit lighter, but still too dark to be a vampire (I am kidding... I was just referring to the skin tones of the vampires in the movie Twilight... )

So, I am asking you experienced guys.. Do you receommend me to try monobenzone..
My original skin color is olive... I have been using MSM and vitamin C for 6 months... I think, they helped a bit, but not to the degree I want...

Should I try using it on my face too, or only on the body but not on face?

Thank you guys for your time and help...

    Dave

You are going about it, the right way, researching it first. First of all, I will never recommend mono to anyone, I will share my experience and it is up to them to decide. No matter how many time I repeat it, mono will give you patches, I get a lot of people asking me mono gave me patches what shall I do?

Deciding on mono is very big step as once you destroyed those pigment it is very hard to get it back. I will share my issues with mono Dave it might help you. I had those issues.

    1) Patches, I might get spots every where? Looking uneven, what I will say to people?
To answer this hesitation, I had very supportive friend who suffered from viltigo, for 15 years, he said to me I have been using make up to cover up my face, it almost takes me an hour to just do that, he said I can do that until I am depig. The hardest are between 2-4 months, then you get lighten a lot that contrast become less visible.

    2) I had that feeling, what if god punish me and end up with viltigo only, and not total depig for trying to change his creation.

He answered me, you are just doing cosmetic change, if you don’t stop mono then it will depig, it might take longer but eventfully it will work. People wear different contact lenses, have different hair colour, why is it so bad to change your colour?

Regarding the studies, I have read many journals, and the thing with mono there are not enough studies regarding healthy skin, I also read of viltigo patients who had stubborn areas where it did not depig, they used something else but I will not say it! As it is very harmful substance, I know some people will try anything but that substance gave astonishing results in 48 hrs! Imagine!

Regarding patches this picture illustrate the point if you thinking of mono, you might end up like this for a bit, I am dark but luckily my face is getting lighter over all

    Sara,
Thanks for informing us on the reality of mono. What is your starting complexion? And since using mono, what is your complexion as of yet? Right now, I am just using it on my arms and legs. I have only been using it about 2 weeks consistently.
